To God be the glory!  We did it!  The Harvest Conference Center is open. On December 1, 2009, Bishop Dukes and Lyle and Deborah Dukes Ministries’ World Missions Team departed for an eight day missions trip that concluded with the dedication of the Harvest Conference Center in Nakuru, Kenya.

As a part of our Changing Lives Together initiative, we are now positioned to help spread the Gospel in a greater way and minister to the needs of the people of Kenya. On December 6, 2009, we were able to celebrate the official dedication of the Harvest Conference Center with a host of our covenant pastors and partners. Not only will the conference center be able to offer weekly worship services, but it will also provide a place for distribution of food, clothing and other necessities during these challenging times.

During the missions trip, we had an opportunity to minister in several services, preaching the Word of God and bringing a message of hope and deliverance to this nation. We visited and prayed for the sick. We provided clothes and shoes for children who were in need. It was a truly a blessing to see the look of joy and excitement on the faces of the children! Food and supplies were given to families as well. From the moment we began this missions trip, our hearts were touched and with the generous support of our partners, we were able to minister to and touch the lives of many. We truly are changing lives together!

This conference center is just the beginning of our missions in Kenya. We hope to develop, along with the support of our Covenant Churches and other ministry partners, a strong relationship with the Kenyan government and enterprising businesses in order to increase aid to the people of Kenya.
